Types of Widgets

 

There are two large classes of widgets:

Web widgets are sections of code from a third party that can be inserted into any web page - including, of course, a SoftChalk lesson.

 

Computer-and-Desktop.jpg

 

 

Desktop widgets are small applications that run on your desktop and usually require a download and installation in order to run them. Desktop widgets do NOT work in SoftChalk lessons.
