About ScoreTracker
ScoreTracker is a new feature available for SoftChalk V4 users. ScoreTracker is a service designed to assist instructors with collecting and organizing student scores submitted via SoftChalk lessons. Here's how it works:
- An instructor creates a lesson that includes scored quiz questions and/or activities. When creating the lesson within SoftChalk, the instructor must select the ScoreTracker checkbox found under Properties/Lesson Reporting.
- The instructor makes the lesson available to students on a school website, school server or on a CD-ROM.
- Students complete the lesson and submit their scores by clicking a Submit Score button at the end of the lesson.
- The instructor logs into the ScoreTracker service to view student scores (see the login on this page).
- Scores can be downloaded or emailed to the instructor's email account. (Score information is formatted for easy import into Excel and other gradebook formats.)

DISCLAIMER: ScoreTracker scores will be kept online by SoftChalk for a limited time. Scores with dates older than one month will be deleted from the SoftChalk service. Please download your students' scores or email them to yourself if you wish to keep the score information for a longer time period.
