Blackboard Building Block
SoftChalk LessonBuilder V5 includes a new publish feature that works with the Blackboard Academic System LMS. Organizations using the Blackboard Academic System (versions 6, 7,8 or 9) may download and install the SoftChalk Publish Building Block for use with SoftChalk V5. SoftChalk will try to provide a response to your email within 24 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and U.S. holidays.
When submitting a support question by email, please be as detailed and specific as you can. In addition to the description of your problem, include information about the computer platform you are using (Windows 2000, NT, XP; Macintosh OSX).
Updates and Patches
If you are online when you start SoftChalk, your software will automatically check the SoftChalk server for updates. If updates are found, you will be prompted to download the updates. If you choose not to update, you will be prompted again the next time you are online when you start SoftChalk. If you are not online when you start SoftChalk, don’t worry. SoftChalk allows you to work whether you are online or offline. And the next time you are online and start LessonBuilder, you'll have the opportunity to install the latest updates.
At SoftChalk, we continually make improvements to SoftChalk LessonBuilder. The SoftChalk update feature will keep you current with all of the latest features and patches.
